Synopsis

Terra Incognita. The blank spaces on the map, marked only by the words “Here Be Monsters.” Mysteries, terrors, and perhaps the greatest discovery in history.

Two nations at war fight for dominion over the known, and undiscovered, world. They pin their last hopes for ultimate victory on finding a land out of legend.

Each nation will send their ships and heroic captains to brave the untamed oceans, wild storms, sea serpents, and darker dangers unknown to anyone. It is a perilous undertaking, but there will always be the impetuous, the brave, and the mad who are willing to leave home to explore the unknown.

Even to the edge of the world …

Kevin J. Anderson’s spectacular fantasy epic is a sweeping tale of adventure on the high seas, with a cast of characters including kings and sultans, captains and crew, their enemies and their loves, the fanatics and the meek—as two embattled kingdoms vie for the greatest treasure of them all.

Enjoyable

Overall i enjoyed the story. it took a long time for anything interesting to happen. But the story kept moving along at a quick pace. and good lord thank heavens for Scott Brick because if someone else had been narrating i would had quit listening. he alone made me liaten to the book. So you need to liaten to this book also.

Greedy candlemaker leada to war where little happens.

got this because i love Scott Brick and like Kevin andersons star wars books. This book is just okay. Scott Brick is still great (no Jeff Hayes but they cant all be). for fantasy war book almost nothing happen and theres no magic i think.
