Dishing the Dirt
Synopsis
New York Times bestselling author M. C. Beaton’s beloved Agatha Raisin is back—and this time she must prove her own innocence when a local therapist is found murdered.
Agatha never cared for therapist Jill Davent. Not only was Jill romantically involved with Agatha’s ex-husband, but she also unearthed embarrassing details about Agatha’s humble past. Worse still, Jill counseled Gwen Simple, a woman Agatha suspects was connected to a series of grisly murders, despite the lack of evidence.
Never one to hide her opinions, Agatha openly declares that Jill is a fraud and that the world would be better off without her. So when Jill relocates her practice to Mircester, Agatha is relieved.
That relief is short-lived. After discovering that Jill hired a private investigator to examine her background, Agatha storms into the therapist’s office and angrily confronts her, even shouting, “I could kill you!”
Two days later, Jill is found strangled to death.
With her public threats and recent confrontation, Agatha quickly becomes the prime suspect. Determined to clear her name, she and her team of private investigators launch an investigation of their own.
This time, Agatha isn’t just hunting a murderer—she’s fighting to save herself.
